Saint Michael’s Fire and Rescue Squad
For over 35 years, the student-run Fire and Rescue Squad has been saving lives and property in the communities that surround Saint Michael’s College. On duty at all times, the Fire and Rescue Squad responds to an average of 2,400 rescue and 600 fire calls, making them one of the busiest squads in the state of Vermont. Located on campus, the Robert E. Sutton Fire and Rescue Station is a state of the art facility that houses two ambulances, two pump trucks and a squad truck.
Mobilization of Volunteer Efforts
MOVE is at the heart of the Saint Michael’s experience: service to others. The MOVE program is an opportunity to continue your service to community and country. MOVE is student run and led and operates over 20 volunteer programs within the local community. MOVE also offers extended service trips to national and international locations.
