Michael Harvie ’88
A consummate volunteer over many years and a supporter of all things Saint Michael’s, Michael Harvie has served on the Alumni Board of Directors, numerous reunion committees, and as a club leader and volunteer in Portland, Maine.
During his time on the Alumni Board, Michael was actively engaged as a volunteer and panelist for the career symposium, which is held every November and brings dozens of interesting alumni to campus to mentor and network with students.
Michael is also a loyal donor and supporter of all things Saint Michael’s. Along with his wife Lorraine, a 1990 grad, they have embraced Saint Michael’s as a family tradition and were proud that their daughter Jillian, class of ’21, chose to be a Purple Knight. Michael and Lorraine are also the proud parents of their son, Christian.
Michael is Assistant VP Client Management for FullScopeRMS, in South Portland, Maine. In his free time, he also actively volunteers in his community, as the former President and Board member for My Place Teen Center in Westbrook, and at Maine Needs out of Portland.
Michael has too many wonderful memories of St. Mike’s to choose just one favorite. Highlights include meeting his future wife Lorraine through a LEAP retreat, Irish happy hour at the Chance, MOVE volunteer trips to Kentucky and Covenant House, never-ending support and love from Fr. Mike Cronogue, Jennie Cernosia, Fr. Steve Hornat, and more.
It’s a pleasure to name our friend Michael Harvie, Class of 1988, a 2023 Alumnus of the Year.
