Peter L. Jacob ’59

PETER L. JACOB, Vero Beach, FL, died January 23, 2023. Born in South Burlington, VT, Peter served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was enrolled at Saint Michael’s when he met the love of his life, Vilma Camardella, whom he later married. He was owner of Janes and Jacob Real Estate for more than 40 years. Upon retirement, Peter and Vilma transitioned to Vero Beach, FL. Peter led a life of service, volunteering and serving at local, state, and regional levels. In his words, “These little jobs made life meaningful and gratifying.” Peter never sought the limelight or any recognition; it was simply built into his DNA to help others. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Vilma. He is survived by five children, 10 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and extended family.
