Paul J. Lombardi ’68

Paul J. Lombardi, Sr., Franklin, MA, died November 19, 2023.

Paul was a lifelong Franklin resident and graduate of Franklin High School. After Saint Michael’s, he served in the Peace Corps in Jamaica. His service in The Peace Corp was emblematic of the compassion and kindness with which he treated others over the course of his life.

Paul taught college prep English for over 30 years at Franklin High School. His passion for teaching and the written word was evident throughout his career that spanned over three decades. He possessed a warmth, dedication and a genuine willingness that inspired the affection, respect and high regard of his students and colleagues. Above all, Paul was a kind man of integrity, strength, honor, and compassion. He enjoyed cooking, reading, playing with his dog Ginger and spending time with family and friends, especially during the holidays.

Paul is survived by a son, a daughter, a sister, his former wife and extended family.
