John J. Lynch ’65

John J. Lynch, Southport, NC, (and previously a longtime resident of Huntington Station, NY), died January 3, 2025.

Born in Queens, NY, Jack was the eldest of eight siblings. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam era before building a successful career as a broker in professional liability insurance in New York City.

Jack and his wife, Peggy, spent many happy years raising their family in Huntington, NY, before retiring to Southport, NC. Known for his quick wit and warmth, Jack made lasting friendships wherever he went.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Peggy, two daughters, two brothers, three sisters and extended family.
