John D. Topping ’70

John D. Topping, Big Spring, TX, died December 6, 2024.

Born in Rochester, NY, he served in the Air Force. At Saint Michael’s he majored in history. John married Shirlene Richters in 1973 at Webb Air Force Base in Big Spring. He was a pilot for many airlines including Northwest and Republic and retired from Delta. He also had lived in Memphis, TN and Austin, TX, for periods during his work career.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Shirlene.
