Earl F. Callanan

Earl F. Callanan, Santa Clarita, CA, died February 3, 2025, due to heart failure.

After graduating high school in Bennington, VT, Earl continued his education at Saint Michael’s where he earned his undergraduate degree in business administration.

He worked most of his life with food companies, notably Beech-Nut, Hunt Wesson, and Nestle. At Nestle, where Earl worked from 1975 through 1995, he rose to be director for logistics and distribution operations and earned several professional and company awards for his work. He also managed the Nestle Food Company’s food, money and operational support to charitable organizations and Second Harvest Food Banking Programs.  Before moving to California, he lived for a time in White Plains, NY.

Earl married his high school sweetheart Hazel Knapp of Bennington in 1957. Hazel died in November 2023. Survivors include a daughter, a son and extended family.
