Join us for a half-day exploring local trails on mountain bikes on Sunday, Sept. 29, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. No trail biking experience is necessary although you do need to be able to ride a bicycle. Any needed equipment is provided along with transportation. Spaces are limited and fill on a first-come, first-served basis. Drop by the Adventure Sports Center on the ground floor of Alumni Hall between 10 and and 3 pm Monday - Thursday to sign up.

Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE)

The Colchester Police and SMC Public Safety will be hosting our annual Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) training in Cheray 111 on September 30th and October 1st. This training will highlight the philosophy of Avoid, Deny, Defend and will discuss strategies to recognize and survive an active shooter event. The Faculty & Staff session will be on September 30th from 4-5 p.m. The student session will be on October 1st from 4-5 p.m.
