In this beginner-friendly workshop, learn the basics of Adobe Illustrator- a design program and vector graphics editor. Here in the MakerSpace, we often use this software to create designs to be laser-cut or vinyl-cut (See examples here). If you would like to join this workshop remotely, please email us (makerspace@smcvt.edu) or use the sign up to receive a zoom link.
Have a garment that needs repair? Come in and fix it! In this workshop MakerSpace staff will consult with you on your repair and walk you through how to fix it. Join during any part of this open work session.

Drop by the Career Education Center to have your headshot photo taken with a high quality digital camera. You can use this photo for LinkedIn, Handshake, or other professional profiles. We'll have a few background options available. Be thoughtful about your appearance- how do you want to present yourself as you move forward in your career path? Learn how to design and print your own 3D object! In this workshop, staff will assist you in creating a 3D model which you can print right here in the MakerSpace. If you would like to participate remotely, please email us (makerspace@smcvt.edu) or use the sign up to receive a zoom link.
Learn the basics of embroidery, and some beginner friendly stitches and patterns in this open work session! Join during any time and stay for as little or as long as you'd like.
