In this workshop, learn how to make your own game board on our laser cutter. Our MakerSpace staff will assist you in creating your own game board design or in making a classic like chess or checkers using a 10x10" sheet of birch wood.

In this beginner-friendly workshop, learn the basics of Adobe Illustrator- a design program and vector graphics editor. Here in the MakerSpace, we often use this software to create designs to be laser-cut or vinyl-cut (See examples here). If you would like to join this workshop remotely, please email us (makerspace@smcvt.edu) or use the sign up to receive a zoom link.
Have a garment that needs repair? Come in and fix it! In this workshop MakerSpace staff will consult with you on your repair and walk you through how to fix it. Join during any part of this open work session.
