Dr. Julia Maskivker, PhD, a professor in the Political Science Department of Rollins College in Florida, will deliver a lecture on her research concerning the duty to vote on Monday, October 14, 2024, at 4:30 p.m. in the Roy Event Center in the Dion Family Student Center. Dr. Maskivker received her doctorate from Columbia University and her scholarship in political theory touches upon democratic theory and the ethics of participation as well as theories of justice and equality. The lecture is open to students, faculty, staff, and the general public.
