MainStage Theatre Production
Wednesday, April 9 through Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 7 p.m.
McCarthy Arts Center Theatre
The Saint Michael’s College Department of Fine Arts: Theatre, under the direction of SMC Acting instructor Melissa Lourie and guest artist Margo Whitcomb, is thrilled to present a slimmed down version of Tartuffe in a contemporary setting, and with contemporary music, making it even more accessible to today’s audiences.
Joining the company of St. Michael’s students is guest artist Rick Ames, a 1995 graduate of Saint Michael’s, playing the title role of Tartuffe, and Paul Ugalde, playing the role of Orgon, Tartuffe’s unwitting target. Peter Harrigan designs the contemporary costumes, and John Devlin designs the set and the lighting.
Performances Wednesday April 9th to Saturday April 12th, 7:00 pm, McCarthy Arts Center Theatre, Saint Michael’s College Campus, Colchester, VT 05439. Free and open to the public.
