Performers from Vermont and Michigan will gather at Saint Michael’s College on Friday, May 3, at 7:30 p.m. to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the birth of Richard Stoehr (1874-1967), the Viennese composer who taught at Saint Michael’s after fleeing the Nazis.

The concert will be complemented by an exhibit of Stoehr’s scores and memorabilia in the Durick Library and the lobby of the McCarthy Arts Center at Saint Michael’s College, curated by College Archivist Elizabeth Scott.

The concert at Saint Michael’s College is sponsored by the Saint Michael’s College Fine Arts Department and funded in part by a grant from the Marc and Dana vanderHeyden Endowment for the Arts at Saint Michael’s College.
