From Columbus Day to Indigenous People’s Day, telling the truth about America’s history will discuss and explore the true historical account of Indigenous Peoples Day and examine the misrepresentation of Indigenous people’s contemporarily in the United States.

Dr. Kathryn Dungy, Ph.D.: Associate Professor, Caribbean, and Latin American History, Saint Michael’s College

Dr. Delia Gills, Ph.D.: Professor of History and Africana Studies Program Coordinator, University of Central Missouri

Dr. Mia White, Ph.D.: Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies, The New School

Dr. Luhui Whitebear, Ph.D. is an enrolled member of the Coastal Band of the Chumash Nation and the Center Director of the Oregon State University Kaku-Ixt Mana Ina Haws.
