AN EVENING WITH SPEECH OF GRAMMY-AWARD WINNING HIP-HOP GROUP ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT

Where is Mr. Wendal Now?

Civil Rights, Race, and Music in America

Sunday, March 6th

McCarthy Arts Center Theater, 5 pm

Join artist and advocate, Speech, from Grammy award-winning hip-hop group Arrested Development, for an evening of discussion on civil rights, race, environmental justice, and music in America.

This discussion is part of a local education initiative by Drum Daddies, a collaboration between three soul brothers: Rockstars Grammy-Award winning Speech of Arrested Development and world-class Franti and Spearhead drummer Manas Itene and social activist James Ehlers. Drum Daddies will be in the Burlington area offering drumming workshops and the opportunity for youth to meet and interact with legendary musicians.

We are grateful to have Speech come speak with Saint Michael’s College students in the intimate setting of the McCarthy Center Theater.
