Interview
What do like most about working at Saint Michael’s College?
How the size makes it possible to accomplish things. The people are fun-loving, but serious and committed.
What do you like about Saint Michael’s College students?
They are bright, enthusiastic and cooperative.
How would you summarize your Saint Michael’s College experience in one sentence?
Both from my time in the classroom for 28 years and from my time since as CIO, St. Mike’s has continued to provide interesting challenges and great opportunities for satisfaction working with colleagues and students.
What’s your favorite campus location and why?
My office, Saint Edmund’s Hall 221B. It’s off the beaten path, which can be a good thing when I need to concentrate on work. Way back when, I liked being in Sullivan Hall on North Campus. It felt like the Wild West up there. In that one three-story building with a basement, we had business, political science, psychology, history with the great humanities professor Henry Fairbanks, and others.
