Bio
Solomon’s expertise lies in helping others bring their ideas to life through 3D printing, laser cutting, vinyl cutting, sewing, and crafting. He is in charge of the MakerSpace and all associated workshops, trainings, and events. One of his main focuses is to grow the MakerSpace’s presence by increasing collaborations with academics in all disciplines, clubs, and campus organizations. The MakerSpace is the perfect place for you to lead a class activity, host an event and learn new skills.
Recent News
Solomon Manuel Garza has started as the Saint Michael’s College MakerSpace Manager. He is a graduate of Middlebury College with a degree in Architectural Studies and managed the reopening of the Middlebury MakerSpace. Sol has a specialization in 3D printing as well as experience in animation making short animated films. Most recently, Sol was an instructor at the Hannaford Career Center teaching 3D design.
