Next Steps and Key Dates for Fall Semester Enrollment
We are so excited to welcome you to campus this fall! There are some forms that we need you to fill out before your arrival in August, and we’ll update this page as they become available.

Next Steps and Key Dates for Fall Semester Enrollment

| June 13th | Most Forms due (with the exception of those noted above), it is recommended that you complete forms that are available as soon as possible. |
| June 17-19 | Pre-orientation Program (POW) Session 1 - Pre-orientation program where small groups of new students get to know one another, learn a little about what to expect in college, and enjoy Vermont in the summer |
| June 21-23 | Pre-orientation Program (POW) Session 2 |
| June and early July | Summer Advising Meetings and Course Registration – Students will be contacted by an Entrance Advisor through their SMC email to schedule advising meetings, either by phone or on Zoom. |
| Week of July 14 | Housing notifications begin for First Year Students providing all forms have been submitted Begin planning and packing for your arrival to campus. |
| Mid July | Fall semester bills posted to the online KnightVision Self-Service Student Finance billing portals and notice of posting sent to SMC email. |
| Late July | Essays from SMC community members about Common Text posted on the portal. |
| Early August | Summer writing assignment sent to SMC email and home mailing address for students taking the First Year Seminar in the Fall |
| Early August | Receive Course Schedule Housing notifications begin for Transfer Students |
| August 16 | Student accounts must be paid in full |
| August 16-20 | SOAR Summer Bridge Program - A program for incoming first-year students who are interested in spending time with diverse, international, and multilingual people |

| Knight Vision Account - Additional information will be emailed to the student concerning their online financial aid and student billing self-service accounts through Knight Vision. Students will be able to verify that their financial aid file is complete, accept or deny loans, and review the balance on their student account. | |||
