About
The Aquatic and Marine biology program at Saint Michael’s College combines a strong education in biology, hands-on work with our local partners and study abroad courses and internships that relate to aquatic systems to provide a deep knowledge of the biology of freshwater and saltwater systems.
With established relationships with ECHO Lake Aquarium, US Fish and Wildlife, Mystic Aquarium and Associates of Cape Cod Inc., the program is well placed to help students explore the varied aquatic systems across New England, as well as provide internship opportunities. An annual summer course, the Coastal Biology of Ireland, also allows students to expand their interest on a global scale.
The Aquatic biology minor is designed to complement a Saint Michael’s students expertise in any field of study, allowing a diverse and varied academic experience.
