As an instructor, I encourage students to reflect on their own growth and development as people and as professionals, and I strive to engage them cognitively and affectively in the learning process. My research program reflects some of the central elements of my professional psychology identity; namely, prevention, resilience, diversity, and ethical practice. Throughout my years as a faculty member, I have prioritized including students as collaborators in my writing projects.
