Information for Alumni & Visitors

The Library welcomes visitors to use our resources onsite.  Wireless access to the internet is available throughout the building, or you may request a 60 minute guest login to use the library workstations.  For more information see our Visitor Guide.

Alumni

Graduates of Saint Michael's College have lifetime circulation privileges at the Durick Library.  A valid SMC Alumni ID card serves as your library card.  An Alumnus may obtain an Alumni ID card by calling the Saint Michael's College Office of Institutional Advancement at 654-2557.  Borrowing privileges are granted for books only.  Check out period is 28 days. 

Students and Faculty from Other Colleges and Universities

Visitors from other colleges are welcome to use the SMC Library for research.  Students, faculty, and staff from the University of Vermont may check out books using their UVM ID cards.  For details see the SMC-UVM Reciprocal Borrowing Policy.  Faculty from other colleges and universities in Vermont may request a Vermont Consortium of Academic Libraries borrowing card from their home institution library.  For details see Vermont Consortium of Academic Libraries.
