In response to the challenges college graduates will face this year in the job market, Saint Michael's College has created a two-day, high-powered career symposium for its students Oct. 16 and 17. [Pre-registration is required for the event, which is limited to Saint Michael's students.]
James H. Wall, a 1974 Saint Michael's graduate, former chair of the Saint Michael's board of trustees, and Global Managing Director/Human Resources for Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, is keynoting the event, Friday, Oct. 16, at 3 p.m. in the Alliot Student Center Green Mountain Dining Room.
Students, especially seniors, hear from their parents, and they tell themselves, "You're bright, you're educated, now you need a job!" And college faculty and administrators are responding.
